Public consultation for the proposed Extension to the operational Tom nan Clach Wind Farm in Nairnshire has gone live online. In addition, Infinergy is holding two in-person open days, one in Tomatin and one in Carrbridge. The events will take place on the following dates:
- Wednesday 27th October 2021 at The Strathdearn, Tomatin, 2.00pm to 7.00pm
- Thursday 28th October 2021 at Carrbridge Village Hall, 1.00pm to 5.30pm
In addition, Infinergy will also be hosting Live Chat sessions which will allow you the chance to ask questions of the project team on:
- Tuesday 2nd November 2021 between 2-4pm and 5-7pm
- Wednesday 3rd November 2021 between 2-4pm and 5-7pm
Project Director, Nick Sage said: “We are looking forward to seeing communities in person after such a long break. Tom nan Clach is an outstanding operational wind farm, with almost double the energy production compared to the UK average and the proposed Extension will make use of the existing infrastructure, which means less disruption during construction.”
